"Do Your Thing" takes place in the red light milieu of New York during the seventies. The film tells a triangle story of love, betrayal and revenge. When Jada comes home early after a violent experience with a customer, and walks in on her long time boyfriend cheating with another woman, there is no turning back. Overwhelmed with feelings of betrayal and the raging desire to free herself from the chains of her past, she kills her lover and becomes a fugitive from the law.
